Last week, the kids' school (it's still so weird to say the kids' school - plural kids - because I still can't believe they're both elementary school age since I am not nearly old enough for that, ahem) hosted Grandparents and Special Friends Day, where the titular people were invited to spend lunchtime with their child(ren) of note, eat in the cafeteria if they wished (not sure too many folks partook of that offering), and visit said kids' classrooms. Oh, and escort their shorties to the book fair, from which they likely would leave slightly less wealthy.
Sweet day of sharing or elaborate ruse for fundraising? You decide.
I'll just take cute pictures.
