Battle of the Sexes

This afternoon, we were walking the family around the mall – as you do – when we stopped in the Disney store for a little retail therapy. I wanted to check out the clearance racks (you can score some really decent clothes for dirt cheap) while the kids perused all the toys I wasn’t going to buy them on this shopping trip. Thankfully, there is very little that is breakable in this particular establishment.

Chris let Sabrina out of the stroller, so I was keeping an eye and a half on my little criminal to make sure she didn’t swipe anything (this time) (she’s gonna have a record before she hits puberty). After taking a few choice toys of the shelves (and actually putting them back!) (I know!), she sat down next to a bin full of plastic characters and began delicately picking out all the Cinderellas and Sleeping Beauties. She lined up her fair pretties, carefully placing them in a little royal party. She was happily in her private pink and sparkly world when Sammy wandered over to watch. Upon seeing his sister’s collection, he gently plucked a purple glitter ball from the basket next to him and rolled it right through the regal harem.

This may be the first ever public playing of Princess Bowling.
