I'm No Dr. Suess, But Here's My Christmas Poem

(Please forgive the schmaltz. This is off the cuff.)

The Stockings are hung
The cookies are made
The plans are all set
Now watch the sun fade

Into sweet evening starlight
Child wonder now grows
They peek out the window
To catch sight of a nose

Off to bed, you will usher
They'll go with a sigh
And tuck under covers
But peek out an eye

Still before the storm
Of mad reverie
Tearing open presents
Beneath the sparkling tree

May your holiday be joyful
And all your hearts light
All that effort and work
Pays off on this night

Have a Very Merry Christmas, and enjoy all of your traditions, whatever they may be. You all deserve medals for the amount of work this business takes. That's probably why we drink at New Year's.

Happy Holidays! May your calories not count!
